UPS is currently seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our outstanding fleet maintenance team. The technician will maintain a diverse range of equipment including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers. Powered vehicles include diesel, gasoline, and alternative technologies such as compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas, propane, hybrid, and electric models where applicable. Automotive Technicians must be skilled in troubleshooting and maintaining systems like hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls.
Automotive Technicians must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including schedules from Monday through Friday, Sunday through Thursday, or Tuesday through Saturday, depending on the location’s needs. They must possess the required hand tools for their assigned tasks. Meets D.O.T. requirements as per job assignment. A Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.

The starting pay for this position is $36.51 per hour. Compensation varies based on geographic location and is governed by collective bargaining agreements for union-represented roles. Hired applicants are eligible for weekly pay, extensive training, 401(k), a defined-benefit pension plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance after probation, $0 healthcare premiums, paid vacation, sick leave, family and medical leave, holidays, and discounted employee stock purchase programs.
