Pep Boys / Mavis Tire seeks a General Service Technician in Waterbury, CT to perform essential maintenance and tire services. This full-time role offers paid training and opportunities for career growth within the nation’s largest automotive service organization.

You will work alongside experienced technicians, mounting/balancing tires, performing oil changes, and assisting with diagnostics while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
