Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes is hiring full-time General Service Technicians at our Hodgkins, IL location to perform essential maintenance and tire services. You’ll work with experienced automotive professionals to gain hands-on skills and grow your career within the nation’s largest automotive service organization.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.
• Past automotive experience is a plus but not required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
