Job summary

GreatWater Garage in Hastings, MI is seeking a General Service Technician / Lube Technician to perform oil changes, maintenance and DVIs, and support tire and preventive services.

Must have a valid US driver's license and a basic set of your own tools, with a strong commitment to quality work and learning.

Qualifications

• 6 months of relevant experience preferred in an automotive repair facility or equivalent knowledge from a trade school.
• Interest in building a career in automotive repair.
• Willingness to earn ASE certifications and work towards being a C Level Technician strongly preferred.
• Must possess a valid US Driver's License, be insurable on Company policy, and able to drive a vehicle with passengers.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and scheduled maintenance services.
• Complete digital vehicle inspections (DVI) to identify vehicle needs.
• Install and service wiper blades, bulbs, filters, and fluids.
• Perform tire rotations, tire repairs, and basic tire service.
• Assist with TPMS service and tire installations.
• Support technicians with vehicle inspections and shop workflow.
