Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, is hiring General Service Technicians in the Chicago Ridge, IL area. This full-time role offers paid training, benefits, and opportunities to advance within the nation’s largest automotive service organization.

As a General Service Technician, you’ll perform tire services, oil changes, and basic maintenance while upholding safety standards and excellent customer service. Paid training and a new hire bonus are included.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identify visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Follow safety and service procedures.
• Assist in timely completion of customer vehicles.
