Job Description

The Lube and Tire Technician, also known as General Service Tech, is an entry-level automotive technician role. You will undergo comprehensive training from day one, learning to perform maintenance services, including tire changes, oil changes, tire repairs, and basic automotive maintenance such as battery replacements. You will be part of a team dedicated to delivering 5-star guest experiences, ensuring safe and reliable transportation for our customers.

Pay is based on experience, plus incentives (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Keyholder duties, including supervising the shop in the absence of the Store Manager, handling end-of-day paperwork, and assisting the store manager.
• Performing mechanic duties such as changing, mounting, and installing tires.
• Wheel removal, tire repair and balancing, patching and plugging tires.
• Executing quick lube tasks like lubrication and oil changes.
• Inspecting and rotating tires.
• Basic automotive maintenance such as battery installation.
• Training to perform alignments, brake services, and scheduled maintenance.

Compensation: The hourly rate ranges from $16 to $17, depending on experience. Additional incentives may apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Automotive experience.
• Own basic set of mechanic tools or participate in our tool purchase program.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Positive attitude and collaborative mindset.

• Ability to work overhead, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an Automotive Technician or in Lube and Tire services.
