Position: General Service Technician (Entry Level)

Job Description: The Lube and Tire Technician at Monro, also known as General Service Tech, is an entry-level automotive technician role. From day one, you'll participate in a comprehensive mechanic training program covering all aspects of your role. As a technician, you'll perform maintenance services on guest vehicles, working as part of a team to deliver 5-star guest experiences, ensuring their vehicles are safe and reliable.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising the shop in the absence of the Store Manager
• Running end-of-day paperwork and cash handling
• Assisting the store manager with duties
• Performing mechanic duties such as changing, mounting, and installing tires
• Wheel removal, tire repair and balancing, patching/plugging tires
• Performing quick lube services like oil changes and lubrication
• Inspecting and rotating tires
• Basic automotive maintenance such as battery installation
• Training provided for alignments, brake services, and scheduled maintenance

Compensation: The hourly rate ranges from $16 to $17, depending on experience, plus incentives where applicable.
