Job summary

Driver’s Edge, part of Sun Auto Tire & Service, seeks a General Service Technician in Fort Worth to start your automotive career with a winning team. If you’re passionate about cars and eager to learn, this is your chance to grow with an industry leader.

Starting pay is $15–$17 per hour, with bi-weekly pay, vacation and sick time, holidays, life insurance, 401(k) with match, and tuition reimbursement. State Inspector license holders are especially encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of basic automotive systems (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Flexibility to work Saturdays (Sundays off).
• Previous automotive experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Tire mounting, dismounting, balancing and rotation.
• Oil changes and light vehicle maintenance.
• Multi-point inspections and documenting vehicle conditions.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with parts pickup and customer transport as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns.
