Job summary

Driver’s Edge is seeking a General Service Technician to kickstart an automotive career in a team-focused environment. You will work under the hood on basic maintenance and diagnostics, with opportunities for advancement within Sun Auto Tire & Service family.

Starting pay is $15–$17 per hour, with bi-weekly pay, paid vacation, holidays, life insurance, a company-match 401(k), and tuition reimbursement. State inspector licenses are highly valued and supported by the team.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of basic automotive systems (preferred).
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Flexibility to work Saturdays (with Sundays off).

Responsibilities

• Tire mounting, dismounting, balancing & rotation.
• Oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance.
• Multi-point inspections & documentation of vehicle conditions.
• Keeping the shop clean, organized and safe.
• Requires driving vehicles in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Pick up parts and supplies and transport customers as needed.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to direct supervisor.
• Supporting team members with other assigned tasks.
• Adheres to Sun Autos core values and company policies.
