Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is seeking an Automotive General Service Technician to perform essential maintenance tasks such as tire mounting, balancing, oil changes, and fluid services. You will inspect vehicles, document findings, and support ongoing shop operations.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and a valid driver’s license. Training is provided, with opportunities for ASE certifications and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools a plus.
• Prior automotive maintenance or repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (background, drug, fitness).

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, and install tires.
• Perform maintenance services including oil changes and fluid flush/replace; belt and hose replacement; battery testing and replacement.
• Conduct visual vehicle inspections and document findings.
• Maintain and clean shop equipment and follow shop guidelines.
• Continuously build automotive knowledge and technical skills.

What We Offer

• Competitive Pay: $16.37 – $23.02/hour.
• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week. Team members are required to work Saturdays as part of their regular schedule. The workweek includes one scheduled day off during the week and Sundays off. Additional schedule adjustments may be made based on business needs and approved time off.

Your Impact as an Automotive General Service Technician

• Mount, balance, and install tires.
• Perform maintenance services including oil changes, fluid flush and replacement, belt and hose replacement, battery testing and replacement, and general automotive repairs.
• Conduct visual vehicle inspections and document findings.
• Maintain and clean shop equipment, including emptying and servicing portable fluid drains in accordance with shop guidelines.
• Continuously build automotive knowledge and technical skills to support future career growth.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Prior automotive maintenance or repair experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with the team.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings if offered a position (background, drug, fitness for duty).
