Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is seeking an Automotive General Service Technician to join our team in Fairfield, OH. The role involves performing tire mounting/balancing, routine maintenance like oil changes, fluid flushes, belt and hose replacements, battery testing, and other general automotive repairs.

You will inspect vehicles, document findings, and help keep the shop running smoothly. The position requires basic automotive knowledge, experience preferred, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of automotive systems; familiarity with PC-based diagnostic tools.
• Prior automotive maintenance or repair experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license strongly preferred.
• Authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, and install tires.
• Perform maintenance services including oil changes, fluid flush and replacement, belt and hose replacement, battery testing and replacement, and general automotive repairs.
• Conduct visual vehicle inspections and document findings.
• Maintain and clean shop equipment, including emptying and servicing portable fluid drains in accordance with shop guidelines.
• Continuously build automotive knowledge and technical skills to support future career growth.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We Offer

The base compensation for this position is $16.37 - $23.02/hr. Actual pay will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.

Schedule

Full-time, 5 days per week. Team members are required to work Saturdays as part of their regular schedule. The workweek includes one scheduled day off during the week and Sundays off. Additional schedule adjustments may be made based on business needs and approved time off.

Your Impact as an Automotive General Service Technician

What You’ll Bring
