Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is seeking an Automotive General Service Technician to mount, balance, and install tires and perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and fluid services. You will inspect vehicles, document findings, and maintain shop equipment while pursuing growth opportunities within the automotive field.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, experience preferred, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of automotive systems, PC-based diagnostic tools is a plus.
• Prior automotive maintenance or repair experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with the team.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (background, drug, fitness for duty).

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, and install tires.
• Perform maintenance services including oil changes, fluid flush and replacement, belt and hose replacement, battery testing and replacement, and general automotive repairs.
• Conduct visual vehicle inspections and document findings.
• Maintain and clean shop equipment, including servicing portable fluid drains.
• Continuously build automotive knowledge and technical skills for future growth.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We Offer:

• The base compensation for this position is $15.54 - $21.87/hr. Actual pay will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.

Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week. Team members are required to work Saturdays as part of their regular schedule. The workweek includes one scheduled day off during the week and Sundays off. Additional schedule adjustments may be made based on business needs and approved time off.
