Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes is hiring General Service Technicians for our Indianapolis, IN area service centers. This full-time role offers paid training, competitive weekly pay, weekly incentives, and room for advancement within the nation’s largest automotive service organization.

New hires can receive an $800 signing bonus and join a team focused on tire services, oil changes, fluid checks, and vehicle maintenance. Training is provided to build hands-on automotive skills in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
