Betten Hyundai in Muskegon, MI is seeking an Automotive Dealership Cashier / Receptionist to be the first point of contact for customers. You will handle payments, greet visitors, and support front desk operations. The role combines cashier duties with administrative support, requiring professionalism, accurate cash handling, and strong communication.

Prior experience in a dealership is a plus, and a high school diploma is required. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 AM–6 PM with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience in cashier, receptionist, or customer service role preferred.
• Experience in an automotive dealership setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and visitors promptly and courteously.
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
• Provide information and assistance to customers in person and over the phone.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk and reception area.
• Accurately process service, parts, and vehicle sales payments.
• Balance cash drawer and prepare daily cash reports and deposits.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change due to customers.
• Reconcile credit card and cash transactions at the end of the day.
• Assist with filing, scanning, and data entry tasks.
• Maintain appointment schedules for service or sales teams.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
• Support office staff with general clerical duties as needed.
