As an Automotive Fleet, your main responsibility will be to execute accessory installations and assigned duties in accordance with dealership and factory guidelines. PAY
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Upfit new police and government vehicles, including the installation of prisoner containment, push bars, seats, dividers, and other accessories.
- Develop a strong understanding of our company’s products, equipment, requirements, and objectives to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
- Complete installations in a timely manner, meeting schedule deadlines set by the Department Manager.
- Verify that all installation items have been properly installed and accurately complete workshop orders.
- Follow and adhere to all quality and safety standards for installation procedures, ensuring work passes a final quality inspection.
- Conduct vehicle check-in and check-out inspections with meticulous attention to detail.
- Perform work as outlines on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following dealership and factory standards.
- Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
- Adhere to internal procedures and suggest improvements when necessary.
- Road test vehicles to ensure the quality of the work performed.
- Maintain and be accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals, ensuring their proper storage and condition.
- Understand, comply with, and stay up to date on federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know.
- Safely operate all tools and equipment.
- Report any safety issues immediately to management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in automotive accessory installation is preferred but not required.
- Experience with hand tools required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to deliver high-quality work.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Effective commitment skills.
- Team player who can thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record that meets Company standards.
