Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring for an outdoor role focused on vehicle entry and exit within our rental fleet. You will perform pre-delivery and post-use inspections, install and remove license plates, and manage registration paperwork, stickers, and keys.

You will prep newer vehicles for rental, support transitions of vehicles out of the fleet to used car lots or auctions, and help position vehicles around the lot to keep operations efficient.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors.
• On-site role, not remote; flexible shifts supported.

Responsibilities

• Oversee entry/exit of vehicles in the rental fleet and conduct inspections.
• Install and remove license plates; coordinate registration paperwork and keys.
• Prep newer vehicles for customer rental across multiple makes/models and manage fleet transitions to used car lots or auctions.
• Move vehicles around the lot to maintain efficient operations.

WhatYou’llDo:

In this outdoor role, you will oversee the entry and exit of vehicles within our rental fleet. This includes conducting pre-delivery and post-use inspections, installing and removing license plates, coordinating vehicle registration paperwork, stickers, and keys, and ensuring records are accurate and up to date.

You will help prepare newer vehicles across a variety of makes and models for customer rental, as well as support the transition of vehicles out of the fleet for retail used car lots, auctions, or other buyers. You will also support the organized movement and positioning of vehicles throughout the lot to maintain efficient operations.

Your attention to detail and automotive knowledgehelpensure vehicles are properly documented, safe, and ready—directly supporting fleet accuracy, vehicle availability, and the overall customer experience.

• Valid Driver’s License
• Strong attention to detail with effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
• Ability to work outdoors or near a mechanical shop with moderate noise levels
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Must be able tolift upto 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk,sitand kneelfrequently, enter,exitand drive vehicles
• Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
• Previousexperience in auto service, fleet operations, or vehicle maintenance is a strong advantage
