FINANCE MANAGER

THE POSITION:

The Finance & Insurance Manager is responsible for generating additional revenue by selling finance and insurance products to new and used vehicle customers. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with information security protocols and maintaining a professional appearance.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years in automotive sales
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to two years related experience and/or training
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with sources of finance and insurance products, including factory sources
  • Submit proper documentation to obtain approval for finance transactions
  • Work with sales management to ensure a 100% turnover to the Finance & Insurance department
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to secure reasonable profit margins
  • Forecast finance department performance to achieve desired penetration and income levels
  • Verify accuracy of title, lien information, taxes, and customer paperwork; ensure data accuracy in dealership databases
  • Notarize deal paperwork as required
  • Forward completed deals promptly
  • Obtain necessary licenses for selling insurance, if applicable
  • Prepare monthly reports on finance penetration and product sales
  • Keep management updated on rates and products
  • Complete all required training certifications
  • Follow company policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
  • Access and navigate all departments at the facility
