Job summary

MarketSource is seeking an Automotive Technical Advisor to act as the direct liaison between dealerships and the OEM within their program. The role emphasizes buyback reductions, repair time, and fixed first visits.

Responsibilities include providing technical assistance to dealer personnel, leading service performance improvements, and analyzing shop processes to enhance customer satisfaction. Occasional travel to dealerships is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master Technician Certification preferred.
• 2+ years automotive experience; dealership fixed operations experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license for daily dealership visits; occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and fixed operations consultation to dealer personnel, fleet, and commercial customers.
• Lead dealer service personnel to higher levels of service and parts performance.
• Initiate resolutions on unresolved issues to maximize competitiveness and customer loyalty.
• Analyze repair shop processes and propose proactive business planning focused on the customer.
• Oversee recalls and RSU follow-up to reduce risk and improve outcomes.
• Serve as OEM subject matter expert and communicate CAIR updates as directed.
• Travel to dealerships within designated area and communicate technical information at all levels.
