Job summary

Slate is building safe, reliable vehicles in the USA and seeks a senior procurement professional to lead facilities sourcing. You will develop a strategic supplier base, negotiate terms, and manage RFIs/RFQs and master agreements to meet cost, quality and delivery targets.

The role requires 8–10 years in procurement or supply chain, strong communication, and ERP experience with NetSuite and Zip. You’ll collaborate across teams in a dynamic startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for procurement leadership roles.
• 8–10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or engineering.
• Proven experience sourcing Automotive Manufacturing Facilities needs.
• Experience sourcing construction, maintenance, and MRO services optional bonus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Zip) and process improvements.
• High integrity and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup-like environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic supply base and lead supplier negotiations.
• Manage RFIs, RFQs, Master Services Agreements and commercial agreements.
• Source facilities’ goods and services with focus on cost, quality and delivery.
• Own Automotive Manufacturing Facilities sourcing; ensure precision fit and launch timing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement cost reductions and improve supplier quality.
