JOHN LEE MAZDA in Panama City is hiring a service technician to diagnose, repair, and test automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes and A/C. You will work with diagnostic tools and follow manufacturer standards in a high-volume shop.

Qualifications

• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Ability to identify problems quickly.
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs work on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning.
• Communicates with the Service Advisor about additional services and time estimates.
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

• Ensures that customer's cars are kept clean
• Maintain stall in an orderly and clean manner
• Ability to identify problems quickly
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Basic computer and internet literacy
• Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
• Keep shop equipment operating (maintain, troubleshoot, repair, etc.)
• Drive manual transmission vehicles
• Use computer diagnostic equipment

Job Type:

Full-time Hourly plus bonuses and Spiffs Weekly pay

$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 yearly
