Qualifications

• Prior Automotive Lube Technician/ Mechanic experience required.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Automotive Dealership experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks including oil changes and tire rotations.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures for customer problems and provide repair recommendations.
• Inspect vehicles according to state emissions and safety requirements.

Mohawk Chevrolet is growing and currently seeking an Automotive Express Lube Technician/ Mechanic to join our Auto Dealership. Prior Automotive Lube Technician/ Mechanic experience required.

Qualifications:

• Valid state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Automotive Quick Lube & Tire Technician/ Mechanic experience required
• Automotive Dealership experience , but not required
• Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a plus
• Valid Inspector License required

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations, headlight/taillight installations and more.
• Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
• Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
• Inspect vehicles according to the state’s requirements for emissions and safety
• Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness
• Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
• Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
• Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
