Position Title: Automotive Equipment Mechanic II

Minimum Requirements:

  • Six (6) months of experience in heavy equipment repair work, or
  • Certificate of completion from a technical school for automotive/heavy equipment repair, which can substitute for experience.

Note: All positions within this class require a valid driver’s license.

Additional Requirements:

  • Use specialized tools and equipment for repairs and maintenance.
  • Perform and teach preventive maintenance.
  • Analyze equipment symptoms, define problems, and determine repair actions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and prepare work and purchase orders.
  • Perform other related duties and respond to emergencies as needed.
