You will coordinate input from R&D and affiliated companies, prepare formal comments, and present regulatory summaries regularly to leadership. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or other analytical/technical fields.
• 5 years of automotive environmental regulations experience.
• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory Driving Record.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Follow Federal and State regulatory emissions activities and provide analysis, comments, and guidance to Hyundai Motor Group affiliates.
• Monitor EPA and CARB initiatives through industry meetings and government contacts.
• Prepare corporate positions and written comments in response to regulatory actions.
• Prepare reports on regulatory activity with recommendations for action.
• Distribute information on environmental trends to R&D staff and provide guidance on regulatory initiatives.
