Job summary

GlobalLogic Sweden is seeking a Verification and Validation Engineer to join an automotive project in Gothenburg. You will design and execute automated tests for embedded software using Vector tools and contribute to CI/CD improvements.

The role requires hands-on test creation, fault tracing, and collaboration in an agile, cross-functional team. Fluent English is required and a Swedish/EU driving license is preferred for on-site work.

Qualifications

• Experience writing automated tests for embedded systems.
• Experience with Vector CANoe/CANalyzer and CAPL.
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN and Ethernet protocols.
• Scripting skills in Python and CAPL.
• Swedish or EU driving license; able to drive on-site in Gothenburg.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain automated black-box tests for automotive embedded software using Vector environment.
• Perform system fault tracing with knowledge groups.
• Extend and improve CI/CD infrastructure owned by the team.
• Participate in requirement creation to ensure testability.
• Support test sessions on rigs/boxcar/vehicles with various groups.
• Work in a highly empowered agile team covering requirements, software architecture, deployment and test.
