Advantage Technical is seeking an Electronics Engineering Technologist in Dearborn, MI. You will develop prototype electronic circuits, design PCBs with Fusion 360, and integrate systems with production hardware and software for next-generation vehicle technologies.

This hands-on role requires experience with automotive electrical systems, embedded design, and strong collaboration with engineers, designers, and fabrication teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 3+ years in electrical system design and testing.
• 3+ years PCB design using Fusion 360 or similar.
• Experience with automotive electrical systems (displays, lighting, audio).
• Proficient in C++, Node.js, or Python.
• Familiar with CAD tools such as CATIA, Rhino, or Alias.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support prototype electronic circuits, systems, and components.
• Design PCBs using Fusion 360 or similar software.
• Perform electrical system integration, wiring, testing, debugging.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and fabrication teams to build functional prototypes.
• Integrate prototype systems with production hardware and software.
• Create operating procedures, technical documentation, and training materials.
• Support demonstrations, leadership reviews, and product showcase events.
• Stay current with advancements in electronics, embedded systems, and emerging technologies.
