Job description

On-site | Some Travel Required | Rotating Shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd)

We're seeking experienced Automotive Electrical Technicians to support a major vehicle assembly facility in Arlington, TX. This is a hands-on, on-site role where you'll troubleshoot, repair, and install advanced electrical systems on new OEM vehicles. If you're the kind of technician who enjoys solving complex issues, mentoring others, and working with cutting-edge systems, this could be a great fit.

  • Note : This is an on-site role only. Remote work is not available.

Travel to other U.S. locations may be required up to 20%, based on project demand.

Must be open to rotating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift schedules.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose electrical faults and determine repair strategies.
  • Repair and replace vehicle wiring, connectors, and systems to OEM standards.
  • Support root cause analysis and document repair activity.
  • Install new electrical systems in prototype or pre-production vehicles.
  • Read and interpret complex schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Coach and support other repair techs in diagnosing and repairing vehicle electrical systems.
  • Maintain repair equipment and a clean work environment.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for advanced diagnostics and repair.
  • Report lessons learned and best practices to site leadership.

Who You Are

  • You've got 5+ years of hands-on automotive electrical repair experience .
  • You understand complex vehicle systems and electrical architecture.
  • You can comfortably work in tight spaces and stand / crouch for long periods.
  • You can read schematics, use multimeters, and work with OEM scan tools.
  • You're comfortable leading by example and mentoring others.
  • You're a clear communicator and proactive problem-solver.

Nice-to-Haves

  • ASE certifications
  • Prior experience as a lead tech or shop foreman
  • Automotive Technical Assistance Center (TAC) background
  • Experience developing or interpreting schematic diagrams

Education & Requirements

  • Associate's degree or certificate in Automotive Technology or a related field.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
