Job summary

PYP in Orlando is seeking a Dismantler to safely remove high-value auto parts and usable core components from vehicles, following safety procedures and efficiency targets. The role includes staging cores for pickups, assisting countersales, and potential forklift operation in a fast-paced shop environment.

Candidates must have hands-on automotive repair experience and be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Training will be provided, and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on automotive repair experience.
• Must complete required training.
• Necessary tools will be provided as needed.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and remove hybrid batteries, catalytic converters, airbags and other parts efficiently from vehicles in a safety conscious manner.
• Stage high value cores/parts for vendor or customer pickups.
• Respond to customer countersales by receiving order, pulling product and taking to sales counter.
• May operate forklift and load trucks.
• Maintain orderly and clean work areas.
• Meet productivity guidelines.
• May use handheld devices to enter information and generate reports.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
