Job summary

Fenix Parts in Hillsboro, OH seeks an Automotive Dismantler to safely remove engines, transmissions, differentials, and drivetrain components from vehicles, ensuring parts meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include tagging parts, testing engines and electrical components, managing fluids responsibly, maintaining a clean workspace, and completing all required paperwork to support our growing automotive recycling operation and eco-friendly mission.

Qualifications

• 1 year of hands-on automotive mechanic experience including removal of engines, transmissions, and drivetrain components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automotive parts and their functions.
• Must own and maintain essential mechanical tools.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safe removal of vehicle components including engines, transmissions, differentials, driveshafts, axels and more.
• Quality assurance: tag and label parts to meet standards.
• Testing and evaluation of engines and electrical components.
• Environmental responsibility: proper drainage and storage of fluids.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work environment and complete required documentation.
