Apple Autos is seeking a highly-driven Diesel Technician to join our team. What You’ll Do

1. Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
2. Work independently and as a team to drive maximum repair efficiency.
3. Consistently and concisely detail and document repairs to ensure vehicles are fixed right the first time.
4. Inspect and maintain shop equipment.
5. Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification.
6. Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
7. Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
8. Continue ongoing training to stay abreast of the new technology and techniques on the vehicle model lines.

What You’ll Bring

1. Proven diesel experience as an automotive technician preferred.
2. Hold a valid driver’s license.
3. Team oriented, flexible, high energy and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
4. Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
5. Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.
6. Regularly required to:

• Sit, stand and walk
• Use hands and arms to handle, feel, or reach
• Speak and hear
• Use close vision abilities
• Operate a vehicle with a valid driver’s license

Occasionally, required to:

• Lift or move up to 50 lbs
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
