DIESEL TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform diesel engine repair, maintenance, and diagnostics
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical diesel system issues
• Repair fuel systems, exhaust systems, and emission systems
• Complete transmission, drivetrain, brake, and suspension work
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
• Handle warranty repairs and dealership service work
• Maintain high-quality repair standards

DIESEL TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience as a diesel technician, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment technician
• All experience levels considered, including entry-level and master technicians
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills for diesel engines
• Personal tools required
• Valid driver’s license preferred

DIESEL TECHNICIAN SKILLS

• Diesel engine diagnostics, diesel repair, and diesel maintenance across fuel systems, turbo systems, emission systems, and heavy-duty diesel engines.
• Experience with automatic and manual transmissions, drivetrains, axles, suspension systems, brake systems, electrical and electronic diagnostics.
• Strong experience diagnosing and repairing diesel trucks, light-duty diesel vehicles, and heavy-duty diesel equipment in dealership or independent repair environments.
• Knowledge of diesel systems, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting is highly valued.
