DIESEL TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform diesel engine repair, maintenance, and diagnostics
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical diesel system issues
- Repair fuel systems, exhaust systems, and emission systems
- Complete transmission, drivetrain, brake, and suspension work
- Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
- Handle warranty repairs and dealership service work
- Maintain high-quality repair standards
DIESEL TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as a diesel technician, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment technician
- All experience levels considered, including entry-level and master technicians
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills for diesel engines
- Personal tools required
- Valid driver’s license preferred
DIESEL TECHNICIAN SKILLS
- Diesel engine diagnostics, diesel repair, and diesel maintenance across fuel systems, turbo systems, emission systems, and heavy-duty diesel engines.
- Experience with automatic and manual transmissions, drivetrains, axles, suspension systems, brake systems, electrical and electronic diagnostics.
- Strong experience diagnosing and repairing diesel trucks, light-duty diesel vehicles, and heavy-duty diesel equipment in dealership or independent repair environments.
- Knowledge of diesel systems, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting is highly valued.
