Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Mechanic/Technician Specialist for a 12+ month project in Auburn Hills, MI. The role involves responding to dealer technician inquiries, guiding diagnostics, and logging all ticket activity to ensure timely resolution.

Start ASAP with shifts across 8:00 AM–11:00 PM ET weekdays and some Saturday coverage. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of hands-on automotive repair or a related degree/certificate, and may possess ASE or electrification experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–2 years of hands-on automotive repair experience or a Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Trade School Certificate in Automotive internship or similar experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to automotive inbound calls and tickets from Dealer Technicians, providing diagnostic direction.
• Apply a six-step diagnostic process to resolve automotive concerns.
• Research and apply relevant product and repair information using databases and tools.
• Follow up on open tickets to ensure resolution and closure.
