Main Street Auto is seeking a skilled B Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on mechanical and electrical systems in our Macon shop. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high-quality work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational automotive training preferred.
• Proven experience as a technician or mechanic in automotive environments.
• Ability to read manuals, diagrams, and schematics; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and vehicles to identify issues.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical problems and propose solutions.
• Perform repairs and adjustments on engines, brakes, and steering systems.
• Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex issues and recommend repairs.
• Coordinate with teammates to schedule repairs and maintain workflow.
• Document repairs, procedures, and parts used accurately.
• Adhere to safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and relevant techniques.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions professionally.
• Keep workspaces and tools organized and clean.
