Job summary

Formel D is seeking an Automotive Technician in Phoenix to perform inspection, repair, and diagnostic services on vehicles. The role requires diagnosing systems, repairing engines and electrical components, and explaining findings to customers in clear terms.

Qualifications

• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of automotive repair experience and/or training or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid US driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform difficult repairs and complete repair orders per dealer/OEM standards.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC.
• Explain diagnoses and required repairs to customers and management in non-technical terms.
• Lead repair activities and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Continuously learn new techniques through formal training and stay updated on technology.
