Job description

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Automotive Detailer is to clean and refurbish new and used vehicles according to customer specifications.

Compensation:

100% commission, paid weekly!

Responsibilities:

• Wash vehicle exteriors, clean windows, and wipe down door jams
• Apply wax and buff or wipe surfaces
• Vacuum vehicle interiors
• Clean upholstery, rugs, and surfaces with appropriate agents
• Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to interior surfaces
• Steam clean engine and engine compartments
• Use special cleaners for difficult stains, following manufacturer instructions
• Inspect vehicles for defects such as dents, scratches, and upholstery tears
• Restore appearance of engine areas, rugs, upholstery, and painted surfaces
• Apply dressing to tires and wells
• Utilize PACE VIN Order System
• Understand and meet customer requirements
• Coordinate with team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Use protective gear when handling chemicals
• Operate tools and equipment safely
• Report safety issues immediately
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• One year of automotive detailing experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with colleagues, vendors, and customers
