Job Summary:
The Automotive Detailer is responsible for cleaning and refurbishing new and pre-owned vehicles to meet customer specifications and maintain a high standard of quality.

Compensation:

  • 100% commission, paid weekly

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean vehicle exteriors, including washing, waxing, and buffing surfaces.
  • Detail interiors by vacuuming, cleaning upholstery, carpets, and other surfaces using appropriate tools and agents.
  • Apply protective treatments to vinyl, leather, and fabrics.
  • Perform engine cleaning using specialized equipment and cleaning agents.
  • Remove tough stains or foreign materials with specialized cleaners following manufacturer recommendations.
  • Inspect vehicles for defects, such as scratches, dents, torn upholstery, or mechanical issues.
  • Restore and enhance the appearance of various vehicle components, including engines, interiors, and paint.
  • Apply tire and wheel well dressings to improve vehicle aesthetics.
  • Use the PACE VIN Order System to fulfill customer-specific requests.
  • Coordinate tasks with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow safety protocols, including the use of proper protective equipment.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and report any safety concerns to management immediately.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • At least 1 year of experience in automotive detailing (preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
