Job description

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Automotive Detailer is to clean and refurbish new and used vehicles according to customer specifications.

Compensation:

Commission-paid weekly

Responsibilities:

• Wash vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down door jams
• Apply wax to auto body and buff surface
• Vacuum vehicle interiors to remove dirt and debris
• Clean upholstery, rugs, and surfaces using appropriate agents and devices
• Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to interior surfaces and treat fabrics for stains
• Clean engine and compartment with steam cleaning and agents
• Use special cleaners to remove foreign materials, following manufacturer instructions
• Inspect vehicles for defects like dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and mechanical issues
• Restore the appearance of engine areas, rugs, upholstery, and painted surfaces
• Apply dressing on tires and wells
• Use PACE VIN Order System
• Understand and meet customer requirements
• Coordinate with team members
• Maintain a neat and clean work area
• Use proper protective equipment when handling products
• Operate tools and equipment safely
• Report safety issues immediately
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license
• 1 year of automotive detail experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
