Job summary

DARLING'S Facility in Brewer is seeking a full-time vehicle reconditioner/detailer. The role offers a flat rate pay structure with a monthly bonus, a 4- or 5-day work week, and an ESOP-owned company culture.

No weekends and a climate-controlled shop contribute to a positive work environment. Responsibilities include cleaning interiors and exteriors, operating detailing equipment, applying cleaning agents, photographing vehicles for online listings, and performing occasional snow removal.

Qualifications

• Previous vehicle detailing experience preferred.
• Valid Maine driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to company standards.
• Operate buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums and other equipment to meet service expectations.
• Apply cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to enhance vehicle appearance.
• Photograph vehicles for online presentation.
• Snow removal and moving inventory as needed, early morning to evening.

RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:

• Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company quality and production standards
• Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations
• Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles
• Photographing vehicles for online presentation
• Snow removal duties to include sweeping off cars, moving inventory - early AM to PM as needed
• Previous experience is preferred
• Valid Maine driver's license with a clean driving record
