Job description

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Automotive Detailer is to clean and refurbish new and used vehicles according to customer specifications.

Compensation:

Commission-based, paid weekly!

Responsibilities:

• Wash vehicle exteriors, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down door jambs
• Apply wax to auto body and buff surfaces
• Vacuum vehicle interiors to remove dirt and debris
• Clean upholstery, rugs, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and devices
• Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to interior surfaces and treat fabrics for stain resistance
• Clean engine and engine compartment with steam and cleaning agents
• Use special cleaners for stubborn foreign materials, following manufacturer instructions
• Inspect vehicles for defects such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, or mechanical issues
• Restore the appearance of engine areas, rugs, upholstery, and painted surfaces
• Apply dressing to tires and wells
• Utilize the PACE VIN Order System
• Meet customer requirements and coordinate with team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Use protective gear when necessary and operate tools safely
• Report safety issues immediately
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license
• At least 1 year of automotive detailing experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with staff, vendors, and customers
