Sterling CDJR in Opelousas, LA is hiring an Automotive Detailer for an entry-level position with room to grow within our family-owned dealership.

As a Detailer, you will wash, detail interiors and exteriors, vacuum, clean upholstery, and maintain showroom and lot areas. You will work outdoors in various weather and support Sales and Service while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• Automotive detailing experience preferred but not required
• Coachable with strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years of age for insurance purposes

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors
• Vacuum interiors to remove dirt and debris
• Clean upholstery, carpets, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning products and tools
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, showroom, and vehicle lots
• Support Sales and Service departments by ensuring vehicles and facilities reflect company standards
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the day
• Operate vehicles safely at all times
