Job summary

Moberly Motors is seeking an Auto Detailer to join our Automotive Detailing Department in Missouri. This role focuses on detailing vehicles for display, prepping trade-ins, and maintaining lot cleanliness.

Prior detailing is a plus but not required; a strong team player with attention to detail is essential. We offer a family-run environment with solid benefits and work-life balance, including paid time off after the first year and weekends off.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior detailing experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Detailing fresh trade-ins and auction vehicles for the lot.
• Prepping brand-new vehicles for display.
• Regularly maintaining the cleanliness of lot vehicles.
• Cleaning and preparing loaner vehicles between uses.
• Final detailing of sold vehicles before customer delivery.
• Applying protective coatings for long-term vehicle care.
• Assist with light porter duties such as vehicle transport or customer shuttling.

What You’ll Do

As an Auto Detailer at Moberly Motors, your responsibilities will include:

• Detailing fresh trade-ins and auction vehicles for our lot


• Prepping brand-new vehicles for display


• Regularly maintaining the cleanliness of lot vehicles


• Cleaning and preparing loaner vehicles between uses


• Final detailing of sold vehicles before customer delivery


• Applying protective coatings for long-term vehicle care


• Assisting with light porter duties such as vehicle transport or customer shuttling
