Job summary

Vern Eide GM in Mitchell, SD is seeking an Automotive Detailer to provide thorough cleaning, interior and exterior detailing, and quality workmanship for our customers. This role runs 40 hours weekly, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with one Saturday per month and a weekday off for that Saturday.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive detailing preferred but not required; on-the-job training is available.
• Attention to detail and pride in high-quality work.
• Ability to operate detailing tools and equipment.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with company standards.
• Perform thorough detailing, including vacuuming, polishing, waxing, and applying protective finishes.
• Clean and organize detailing tools and supplies.
• Inspect vehicles for noticeable issues or defects and report findings to the supervisor.
• Use detailing equipment, including buffers, vacuums, and steamers.
• Adhere to all safety and operational procedures.

Automotive Detailer

Vern Eide GM is looking for a thorough, responsible Automotive Detailer who will provide quality automotive cleaning services to our customers. As an Automotive Detailer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers' vehicles look pristine. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for cars, and a strong work ethic. You will clean, polish, and ensure that each vehicle meets our high standards before it's returned to our customers. This position is 40 hours per week from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with one Saturday per month, with a day off during the week for the Saturday worked.
