Job summary

Hale Automotive Team is seeking an Automotive Detailer / Porter to keep vehicles on the lot and in the service department looking pristine and ready for delivery. You will wash, detail interiors and exteriors, move cars between lots and departments, assist with deliveries, and help maintain a clean, organized work environment.

A valid driver’s license with a clean driving history is required; prior detailing or porter experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
• Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles (cars, SUVs, trucks).
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
• Able to stand, bend, move for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prior automotive detailing or porter experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, wash, wax, and vacuum vehicles to ensure they are showroom-ready
• Detail interior and exterior of inventory vehicles
• Move vehicles around the dealership lot and between departments safely
• Assist with vehicle deliveries and pickups as needed
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lot, warehouse, and work areas
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report any damage or issues
• Fuel vehicles and check basic fluid levels when required
• Support sales teams with general vehicle preparation tasks
