Job summary

Chaparral Ford in Texas is seeking an Automotive Detailer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior and exterior detailing with meticulous attention to detail.

Duties include moving inventory between locations, cleaning sold and newly arrived vehicles, and running daily errands to keep the dealership clean and efficient. Candidates should have at least one year of detailing experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to learn new technology

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of automotive white glove delivery.
• Wet sand/Buff experience is a plus (preferred/not required).
• Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
• One year in automotive detailing.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Strong attention to detail.
• Transferring inventory back and forth between both locations.
• Re-arrange vehicles multiple times daily around the store.
• Ensuring housekeeping needs are kept tidy for the dealership.
• Running day to day errands for the dealership's needs.
• Strong automotive exterior/interior detailing.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.
