Job summary

Xcite Automotive is seeking an Automotive Detailer for our Highland Township, MI partner dealers. You will provide top-notch cleaning, polishing, and refurbishing services to vehicles to restore their pristine appearance inside and out.

In this fast-paced dealership environment, you will wash exteriors, clean interiors, vacuum, inspect for defects, and report safety or maintenance issues. Weekend availability is required, and you must handle detailing tools and chemicals safely.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional automotive detailing experience (dealer or reconditioning environment preferred).
• Strong knowledge of detailing tools, chemicals, and safe handling procedures.
• Weekend work is required; available Saturdays and/or Sundays as part of regular schedule.

Responsibilities

• Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs.
• Vacuum interiors to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Inspects vehicles for dents, scratches and torn upholstery.
• Keeps the car wash area clean and organized.
• Operates detailing tools in a safe manner and reports safety issues.

If you take pride in your work and enjoy helping vehicles look their best, we’d love to have you on board!**Key Responsibilities:*** Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs* Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris* Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches and torn upholstery.* Takes out unwanted materials when needed- Keep the car wash area clean/organized* Utilize special purpose cleaners to insure lasting cleanliness of vehicle* Operate all tools in a safe manner* Report any safety issues to Management## Qualifications**Minimum Qualifications / Must-Haves*** **1+ years of professional automotive detailing experience** (dealership or reconditioning environment preferred).* Strong knowledge of detailing tools, chemicals, and safe handling procedures.* Ability to work in a **fast-paced dealership environment** with high turnaround demands.* Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.* **Weekend work is required.
