Job summary

Wynne Ford in Hampton, VA is seeking an Auto Detailer to clean and detail vehicles for delivery and customer service. You will wash exteriors, buff surfaces, vacuum interiors, clean upholstery, and apply protective sealants.

Responsibilities also include preparing vehicles for delivery and ensuring quality before handoff to customers or internal teams. The role calls for attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• Prior auto detailing experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
• Must pay close attention to detail, work independently and as a team, and have the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Clean/detail new vehicles for delivery, pre-owned vehicles, customer pay details, protection packages, and fleet sales.
• Hand wash the exterior of the vehicle to include wheel wells, etc.
• Apply wax to exterior, and wipe or buff surfaces to protect and preserve shine, using a cloth or buffing machine as needed.
• Vacuum interiors of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning solution, applicators, and a steam cleaner as needed.
• Clean engine as needed.
• Apply protective products such as paint sealant, fabric protectant, vinyl/leather protectant, and undercoating.
• Install accessories such as door visors, hood visors, mud guards, tonneau covers, etc.
• Clean and prepare vehicles for delivery or the front lines as assigned.
• Check each vehicle for quality before delivering it to the customer/internal department.
