Job summary

Vande Hey Brantmeier Automotive Group is seeking a Car Detailer to clean and detail vehicles to dealership standards. The role involves washing interiors and exteriors, vacuuming, hand washing, and applying wax/polish, with occasional shop cleaning duties.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, ability to pass a background check, and the fitness to stand and bend throughout shifts. Previous detailing experience is welcome, but training is available for the right person.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening.
• Be able to pay attention to detail, capable of following instructions and have positive attitude and ability to provide excellent service.
• Able to stand on feet and bend over/up and down during entire shift.
• Ability to understand safety requirements and wear proper safety equipment as needed.
• Must be able to keep up with a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash the interior and exterior of vehicles to meet dealership standards and customer expectations.
• Perform tasks from quick cleans to more intensive cleaning, including hand washing, steaming, deodorizing, and applying protective agents to cars.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and assist in cleaning the shop as needed.

Founded in 1978, the Vande Hey Brantmeier Automotive Group sells and services new and used Chevrolet, Buick, Chrysler, Dodge, RAM, and Jeep vehicles, and offers a state-of-the-art service centers to better serve Wisconsin drivers. We are searching for a Car Detailer to add to our team.The main duties as a Detailer includes washing the interior and exterior of the car to meet the dealership standards and/or customer’s expectations. It involves tasks that range from a simple/quick clean and vacuum to more intensive cleaning jobs, including hand washing vehicles, steaming and deodorizing interiors, and applying protective agents to cars, polishes, and waxes. On occasion, wemay ask you to help out in cleaning the shop as needed.

To do well in this position, you will need to be physically capable of performing manual labor while standing for the majority of your shifts. You should also havethe ability to do quality work with minimal supervision.

While we would love it if you've had previous experience with detailing cars,we’re happy to train the right person if you don’t!
