Job summary

Bergstrom GM of Oshkosh is seeking a Detail Technician to perform thorough vehicle detailing, inspection, and prep. You will apply protective finishes, maintain equipment, and work closely with service and sales teams to ensure top-quality presentation before guest delivery or lot placement.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, physical stamina, and dedication to guest service. Shifts run 7am–6pm Mon–Fri and Sat 9am–3pm, with hourly pay starting at $15.00–$19.00 plus extra Saturday wages

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive detailing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail; ability to work independently and with a team.
• Physically demanding tasks; ability to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods.
• Familiarity with detailing products, tools, and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning, polishing, and waxing of vehicle exteriors and interiors, including washing, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning upholstery.
• Inspect vehicles for damage, defects, or areas needing attention, and report findings to the service team.
• Ensure vehicles meet Bergstrom Automotive's high cleanliness and presentation standards before return or lot placement.
• Maintain and clean detailing equipment; keep workspace organized and safe.
• Apply protective treatments such as paint sealants, leather conditioners, and fabric protectants.
• Collaborate with service and sales teams to prioritize and manage detailing workload.
