LeadCar Systems, Inc. in Monroe, WI is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support the dealership's financial operations. You will process vendor invoices, reconcile statements, prepare 1099s, and assist with month-end tasks to keep daily accounting activities accurate and efficient.

Qualifications include an Associates degree in accounting or 5 years of accounting experience, plus strong customer service, communication, and Excel/Word skills. Travel is limited to company locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in accounting preferred or 5 years accounting work experience.
• Must have knowledge of principles and processes for providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to establish productive, cooperative relationships with customers, vendors, co-workers and management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with administrative and clerical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process vendor invoices for accuracy, post invoices daily, and reconcile vendor statements.
• Prepares monthly accounts payable check run checks.
• Maintains W-9 documentation and 1099 forms in accordance with IRS regulations.
• Prepares and distributes monthly accounts receivable statements and monitors past-due accounts.
• Maintains records of Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certificates and ensures compliance.
• Posts deals on a daily basis.
• Assist with month-end reconciliations.
• Reconcile company VISA statements.
• Maintain a professional demeanor consistent with company culture.
• Assists Controller with other projects and duties as assigned.
