Valley Honda is a leading Illinois Honda dealership committed to exceptional customer care and teamwork. We are seeking an Automotive Dealership Custodian to maintain a clean, safe showroom and service areas while contributing to a welcoming environment for guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Past janitorial/maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum dealership areas.
• Remove trash and recycling throughout the facility.
• Clean spills promptly and safely.
• Disinfect and dust surfaces throughout the dealership.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, offices, and shared spaces.
• Stock departments with supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, etc.).
• Support general upkeep to create a welcoming environment for clients and teammates.
• Perform deep cleaning as needed and complete other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum dealership areas
• Remove trash and recycling throughout the facility
• Clean spills promptly and safely
• Disinfect and dust surfaces throughout the dealership
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in restrooms, offices, lunchrooms, and shared spaces.
• Stock departments with necessary supplies, including paper towels, toilet paper, and restroom or lunchroom items
• Support general upkeep of the dealership to help create a clean, welcoming environment for clients and teammates
• Deep cleaning the entirety of the facility as needed
• Complete other duties as assigned by a supervisor

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the dealership during scheduled shifts

Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous maintenance, janitorial, custodial, or facilities experience preferred
