Job summary

Mobis North America is seeking a Cost Analyst to track, analyze, and optimize costs for automotive programs, with focus on battery and chassis components. You will partner with Engineering, Production, Purchasing and Sales to capture labor, materials, logistics and overhead, and to identify cost-saving opportunities across the project lifecycle.

You will prepare financial reports, support RFQs, and run scenario analyses (DCF, NPV, IRR, payback) to assess profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or related field.
• 4-8 years cost analysis, financial planning, or accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Excel; ERP experience a plus.
• Korean language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track, analyze, and report project costs across materials, labor, logistics, and overhead.
• Manage project budgets and cost estimates throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Sales, and Purchasing to control costs and identify savings.
• Support RFQs and pricing by developing cost models for quotes.
• Prepare cost breakdowns for RFQs and customer proposals.
• Conduct financial analyses (DCF, NPV, IRR, payback) to assess profitability.
• Maintain cost databases and documentation.
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess cost risks.
